David Jamieson (VC)

Major David Auldjo Jamieson VC, CVO was an officer of the British Army in the Second World War and an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

David Auldjo Jamieson was born in Westminster, onOctober 1920, the elder son of Sir Archibald Auldjo Jamieson , Chairman of Vickers Armstrong.
